The mission of Amazing Grace Lutheran Church is to be followers of Jesus Christ, inspired by God’s grace through the Holy Spirit and to joyfully share His love by creating an environment which encourages personal and spiritual growth.

Worship at Amazing Grace is liturgical, but not uppity. We have Communion every weekend and all people are welcome at the Communion table. We are Christian community gathered around God’s word. Children are encouraged to worship with their families. Cheerios mashed in the carpet are beautiful signs of life. We also have a kids room in the back of the santuary should familes choose to use it.

As Christians in a Lutheran tradition, we believe in God’s grace. We don’t have to do anything for God to love us—it’s all a free gift from God. We baptize infants knowing that God’s grace is so amazing we could never fully understand it at any age. We believe that the Bible is God’s living word. We take scripture seriously without taking it literally, trusting the Holy Spirit’s power to change us and lead us into lives of Christ-filled discipleship. Lutherans are catholic in that we are part of Christ’s Church of every time and space. We are evangelical in that we share Good News of God’s love.
